Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic the Bay County Clerk’s office is currently issuing marriage license by appointment only and that the marriage license application must be completed online, the credit card payment form and compliance agreement form must be printed, completed and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org along with a copy of your identification. Applicants will be contacted to set up the appointment date and time which will be completed thru a video conference link that will be provided by the clerk staff.
The Clerk of Circuit Court is the issuing agent of marriage licenses for the State of Florida. All that is required for single adults to obtain a marriage license is for them to come in person to the Clerk’s Office, bring their driver’s license or other acceptable identification card and be prepared to pay the fee.
No appointment is necessary to apply for a marriage license. You can begin the application process by completing the marriage license application online. NOTE: Both applicants must still come in to the office to room 101 to complete the application process.
